Samish Nation hosts Coastal Jam Session

September 29 at Samish in Anacortes at Fidalgo Bay Resort Community Building. 6 PM Barbecue / Salmon Dinner followed by famous Samish Secret Recipe Fudge Brownie Ice Cream Sundaes.

Turtle Woman Rising Drum for Peace: Oct. 10-13, Capital steps, Washington DC.  There will also be a Drum For Peace on the Capital steps in Olympia, WA during the same time. Cowlitz Indian Tribe Hosts The First Annual John Barnett Memorial War-Canoe Races & Horseshoe Pitching Competition 2008

Canoe Race Event is for participation of Canoe Families planning to take part in the Inter-Tribal Canoe Journey for 2009.

Saturday and Sunday, September 13-14, 2008.

At the Ike Kinswa State Park, Mayfield Lake, Washington.

Total Guaranteed Prizes to be given: $7000
