FOR BORDER CROSSINGS BETWEEN US AND CANADA, remember to have your CURRENT DOCUMENTS: State or Federal Issue Picture ID, Passport, Birth Certificate, and Parental permission forms for minor travelers (under 18 years old).

Travel With Minors (anyone under age 18)

For those traveling with minors, if you are the custodial parent you only need the birth certificate or tribal ID card. If you are not the custodial parent (other relative/friend), you must have a signed, notarized statement from the custodial parent giving temporary custody for the designated period away with permission to provide medical treatment. The permission to provide medical treatment is VERY IMPORTANT.

Thank you Linda for providing this information!

One Response

  1. There are a few of us that are paddling/ground crew that will be leaving Suquamish on Aug 4/09 to head back to Cowichan. Which is the best way to get back keeping in mind I may not have a vehicle? Is there a bus that goes from Suquamish to Port Angeles? Is it faster/more convenient to go to Seattle via Baingridge Isl. and take the Clipper to Victoria?
    Thanks for your time
    Sheila
