Events start Friday, Aug. 15th with Coastal Gathering from 8PM to Midnight.

 

The Pow Wow Grounds are across from the new Tribal Center, 18490 Suquamish Way, Suquamish, WA 98392. (Same location as where camping and protocol was held during this year’s journey hosted in Suquamish.)

Seattle Premier of “Frozen River” stars local

Frozen River“, A Sony Pictures film, stars local Native actor Misty Upham, opens Friday, Aug. 15.

The Seattle Premiere of “Frozen River” will be shown in Seattle on Friday, August 15th (this Friday!), at 7 PM and 9PM at the Harvard Exit Theater in the North Broadway neighborhood  (807 E. Roy, 98102; E. Roy at Broadway).
  
Red Eagle Soaring’s former drama student Misty Upham (Blackfeet) has her first starring role!
Misty will be at the theater for a question-and-answer session at both showings.
