2008 Paddle to Cowichan, B.C.

2008 Paddle to Cowichan, B.C. will be prior to the 2008 North American Indigenous Games, also hosted by Cowichan. 

Canoes will arrive at Cowichan, B.C. on July 28, 2008.

80 Native canoes from Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alaska will participate in this year’s Tribal Journeys events.  Protocol will be from July 28 to August 1, 2008.
