Feb. Canoe Meeting

February 13, 2010 Tribal Journey Meeting, Hosted by Cowlitz Tribe.  

Starts at 12 noon with Lunch. Followed at 1pm Meeting.  

Then 5pm dinner, and song and dance to wrap things up.  

LOCATION: Puyallup Fairgrounds, Puyallup, Washington, USA.  

Use the entrance at the RED GATE on 9th Ave. SW. Meeting is in the first building on the left.  

This meeting is in preparation for the coming Paddle to Makah 2010 Native Nations Canoe Journey. Canoes will arrive at Makah after their journey from various far flung locations of Washington, Oregon, Alaska and British Columbia. Official canoe landing and protocol will take place on July 19, 2010. Makah Tribe will host related events for several days following the canoe landing and welcome ceremonies.

Take exit #127/SO TACOMA WAY/PUYALLUP onto WA-512 E toward PUYALLUP – go 10.116.3 mikm

Take the MERIDIAN ST S/PUYALLUP exit – go 0.20.3 mikm

Turn Left on S MERIDIAN – go 0.40.6 mikm

Turn Left on 9TH AVE SW

Arrive at 110 9TH AVE SW, PUYALLUP, on the Left
