What day does all the canoes hit neabay
I am Chinook. My tribe was not mentioned on the site. We have participated in Journey many times (including this year.)
On July 10, 2010 we hosted a beginning event for the journey, We served over 100 people at Bay Center. We feasted o fresh Salmon, smoked salmon oysters, clams, fry bread, salmon chowder and other fine foods. We drummed, danced and sang into the night. The next morning we fed all the Pullers pancakes, breakfast tacos, coffee and juice, Then we sent the canoes on their way with lunches for the journey. I think our participation should be mentioned on this cite.
I’m thinking of joining up in Elwha, does anyone need an additional support person. I’ve been on 4 journies in the past, just not the last few years.
